The Cardiff Devils will host bottom of the league Milton Keynes Lighning in their bid to stay top of the league.

Venue: Viola Arena

Date: Saturday 16th, February (7.00PM)

The Devils will start the weekend with MK at home and end it away to MK. Can they make it count with a four-point weekend?

The Devils have had some good home form as of late, winning their last nine games at home.

The last time the Cardiff Devils played MK Lightning was back on the 20th December. The Devils ran out 3-0 victors thanks to goals from Charles Linglet, Joey Haddad and Gleason Fournier.

MK Lightning have recently ended their ten-game losing streak by beating the team they last found a win against, Dundee Stars, 4-3, after a penalty shootout.

The Devils will need to improve from their last game however as they lost 4-3 to Guildford Flames.

Key players

Ben Bowns, the Devils have relied on him for quite a few games this season, will he be able to keep out the attack of the lightning?

Tim Wallace, the forward has shown promising signs in a bleak season for the Lighning. Can he shock the Devils?

I believe that Devils will go into this game with a good mindset believing that they can win but that they shouldn’t underestimate MK, whose goalie can steal points for his side.
