The Cardiff Devils clinched a 3-2 victory thanks to a superb performance from star man Fournier.

Joey Martin opened the scoring on the power play with Layne Ulmer and Gleason Fournier on the assists.

It didn’t take much longer for the second, captain Jake Morissette finished off an attack with assists going to new player James Livingston and a second assist for Gleason Fournier.

Gleason Fournier managed to find a goal in the last few minutes of the game after he was assisted by Layne Ulmer.

Gleason Fournier, a goal and two assists helped the devils win the game.

The Cardiff Devils can now focus on the travel up too Nottingham in which will be a very difficult game.

Sheffield Steelers on the other hand will look to get back on track when they take on Glasgow Clan.
